From April 16 - December 14, cruises depart from Anaeho'omalu Bay OR, Kawaihae Harbor. . FYI: From 6/20/22 – 7/16/22 all departures will be from Kawaihae Harbor due to required maintenance of our Anaeho’omalu Fleet.

Great Captain and Crew! Lovely experience and comfortable catamaran! The snorkeling over the reef was beautiful...so many different fish and a bonus sea turtle! Crew were in the water with the group. Keeping everyone in a very large safe zone. The lecture on the way to the reef was both delightfully informative, educational, and entertaining. 3 hours is the perfect time, and lunch, beverages, snacks were satisfying! Great Mai Tais! Excellent snorkel trip. Friendly and knowledgeable crew. A great experience. We were lucky enough to have a pod of dolphins swim alongside the boat for an extended period, and appreciated the impromptu lesson about dolphins that we received from the crew.

Captain Will and his team Gregory and Ty were outstanding. Gregory got in the water with the guest and explained what we were seeing and was teaching us about the water environment we were snorkeling in. The boat, food and stories were top notch so we booked another tour within the same week. I would highly recommend based on the crew’s experience and the ease of getting in and out of the water and the excellent condition of the gear they provided us to use. Maholo Laura

Best Snorkeling Experience

We boated through a pod of dolphins and had the most close up (without touching) wild dolphin experience. They were very good about answering questions and showing us the fish we would see on the trip. I also SWAM WITH SEA TURTLES. I swam along side them under the water and chilled with them while they were breathing for air. We got drinks and food on the boat ride back. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Kinda expensive for a very ordinary experience

You will travel with a big group of 50 people, with relatively normal location for snorkeling. You will be 50 feet above the reef, and unless you can dive deep, you don't see anything other than a couple of varieties of fish. Also, you should be able to swim by yourself, or be planned to come with someone who can help out. Since we traveled with our toddler, my wife and I had to take turns to watch after our kid. My wife didn't end up snorkeling at all, since she needed some help from the guides, and they didn't get in the water to help her out.

Our captains choose our snorkel sites each trip from several dozen to optimize snorkeling and marine life viewing, but sometimes weather dictates that we choose a deeper site. This happens more frequently during the winter months, as we're more likely to be experiencing big surf on our side of the island...which means we may have to choose a deeper place to safely moor the boat. Our guides help our guests in the water, as soon as we reach the snorkel site -- we apologize that when your wife was ready to snorkel after watching your toddler, we didn't have a guide available to join her. Again, we're sorry you didn't enjoy the experience but we do hope you'll give us another chance to exceed your expectations the next time you're on the island. Mahalo

Awesome trip! We had the best experience. The crew was so informative. They get in the water and point out things you may otherwise have missed. If you have never snorkeled or if your not a great swimmer. No worries. They make the whole experience easy. Defiantly do this trip if your thinking about it.

Such a wonderful experience! The crew was knowledgeable, friendly and did everything they could to ensure everyone on board had a great time. I highly recommend this excursion for snorkelers visiting the Big Island especially if you're staying in the Waikoloa area.

The snorkel tour was really good. The crew was very knowledgable about the island and the fish. We saw lots of beautiful fish and coral. We even saw whales very close to the boat! Unfortunately, we did not see any turtles. FYI - if you book a tour with this local tour operator, you get discounts on other tours, shops and restaurants in the area. Check out their web site. I wish we knew this in advance.
