Your tour guide will pick you up from the hotel lobby. If you are staying at a private apartment in Budapest, please send us the address.
Your morning or afternoon tour begins with pick-up from your hotel at a time of your choosing. Traveling in the comfort of a luxury Mercedes Benz vehicle and accompanied by a private guide, set out to take in the highlights of Budapest.

Admire the views along the UNESCO-listed Danube riverfront, browse the stalls at the Central Market Hall, and explore the Jewish Quarter, home to Europe’s largest Synagogue, then continue to City Park to see the historic Széchenyi Bath, the largest thermal bath in Europe. Along the way, stop to take photos of landmarks such as the National Museum, the Parliament building, Western Railway Station, Vajdahunyad Castle, and Heroes Square.

Jump out to stroll down the elegant Andrassy Avenue, home to the lavish Hungarian State Opera House, then take a peek inside the opulent St. Stephen's Basilica. Continue across the Chain Bridge to Buda for a tour of the medieval castle and follow your guide around Trinity Square, Fisherman’s Bastion, and Matyas church. After snapping photos of the grand Buda Castle, which dates from the 13th century, head to Gellért Hill for an unbeatable panoramic view of the city and the Danube River.

After four hours taking in the city’s highlights, your tour ends with drop-off at your hotel.

Please note: Your private tour is flexible and you can opt to visit the attractions of your choice along the way. Entrance fees are not included.

A Incredible Experience

Zoltan was excellent. He was extremely informative and very pleasant to be around. He tailored the tour to places we really wanted to see and wouldn’t have seen otherwise.

We covered a lot in 4 hours!

Our driver/guide picked us up in a very clean and comfortable Mercedes. Zoltan was very accommodating in terms of which sites we wanted to see or skip. We first drove around the Pest side and were able to get out of the car and walk around certain sites - keep in mind this is dependent on parking and some sites require paid admission which is not included in the tour. After we crossed the river to the Buda side, we saw ruins of a Roman amphitheater as well as the beautiful castle district. At the end of the tour Zoltan gave us suggestions of places to revisit and asked where we wanted to be dropped off. It was a great start to our stay in Budapest and would definitely recommend.

Flexibility- But try and pick your guide
jimtuck
, Jun 2022
Great flexibility to plan your own tour. However, it’s important to have a guide who can read the group and, in our case, reduce number of facts and talk less. I’m don’t know if we could have selected our guide, but it would have helped.

Dear jimtuck, Thank you very much for sharing your experiences with us. We are so sorry to hear you were not satisfied. Could you please let me know the name of your guide? We would like to check the situation with him/her. As we are a family-run travel agency all of the information is very important to us in order to improve the quality of our service. We hope we will have the opportunity to welcome you back again and answer your expectations. We wish you all the best. Kind regards, Kata Gyevát Dobó

Fabulous private tour of Budapest with lots of Sights and History
Ryan_D
, May 2022
Christine is a wonderful person and a knowledgeable guide. The private experience is unmatched and allows one to see and learn about many things in one day. Christine was full of energy and clearly has a great love for her country and its history. Having a driver like Julio was very helpful as well as it gave Christine the ability to focus on sharing history and sights and no time is wasted as they work together to get to locations. This really was a treat and I highly recommend it.
