HORRIBLE

Do NOT book with Viator. Worst experience every. They out source these tours to another company. We called and emailed 5 times before we were told our pick up time. The transport was really nice. They drove us to Cancun Sailing and it all went downhill from there. We immediately checked in with Angelica who was rude and stressed. I paid the $75 docking fee for our family before I was told our boat was broken and we had to contact Viator to get our money back. Now Viator is saying we never showed up…umm I have the docking fee slip where Angelica wrote our boat was canceled. They are refusing to give my money back. Go through Cancun Adventures for excursions. They were awesome.

This experience was terrible. The Transportation that was to pick us up from our hotel never showed up. When I called the number in the email, as instructed, it was disconnected. Huge disappointment as we had been so looking forward to this excursion.

It’s was alright, boat is small and the photographer should let customers know the prices before asking them to post for a picture

Isla mujeres and snorkling
Amy
, May 2021
The boat ride was a lot of fun. The guides were friendly and helpful. The food was good on the island. (They even had pasta and hot dog options for picky eaters.) Drinks, including non alcoholic, were plentiful. The island was beautiful. But we were disappointed that the snorkling was so brief. We think they said something about the current being strong but we didn't get to feed the fish like they advertised and they rushed us through a 400 meter stretch so fast that we hardly got to see any fish and definitely left feeling disappointed about that. Otherwise, it was a good time. Just don't get sucked in to the shopping at the marketplace. 🥴 And as a side note, the turtle sanctuary, if you choose to do that, does not have wild turtles hanging out on the beach like I hoped. They are in a simple, small aquarium area.

Nice crew

Great time. My son was sea sick most of the ride there, the crew really helped me take care of him. I threw the towel and my swim top in the bag to be trashed because I thought it was ruined, but when we boarded the boat again I saw that the crew washed and folded everything for me. I really appreciated that!

Racism in Mexico
Althea_C

I will give this excursion one star abs that will be for the driver who was professional at all times. The Blatant racism that we experienced on this excursion was saddening. Remember, Mexico white Americans don’t like you either. Imagine we came to celebrate two milestones birthdays and the experience was terrible. Yet, we as a large group arrived on time, followed all rules abs tipped the staff only to be ignored, lied to and resent giving Amigo Tours any business. Never again!!!

Fun in the sun

Loved this excursion! The crew were awesome. Plenty to drink after the snorkel. Snorkeling was ok, went by too quick and wish they separated boats more to avoid confusion and having to look up every 5 minutes to swim to our snorkel guide. Only had an hour and a half at Isla Mujeres, but beach is beautiful though. Overall great fun!!
