We booked the tour to learn more and taste some burgundy wines. The tour guide Elsa educated us on classification of wine. We went to a local winemaker but then the next stop was a shop in the same village. It would have been nice to go to a different wine maker in another village. It wasn’t worth the cost as you could probably have rented a car or taxi to take us to the region for wine tasting.

We really enjoyed our tour. Elsa, our guide, was excellent. She was knowledgeable, friendly and made the tour both interesting and relaxing. We would highly recommend this tour. The wine country is beautiful and the wine tasting was fantastic. We learned a lot!

We had a wonderful wine tour that exceeded our expectation. Our tour guide Thomas was knowledgeable, witty, humorous and generous in sharing his understanding of Burgundy wines. We had been enjoyed wines all over the United States as well as in several regions of France, but this is our first wine tour, and we could not have asked for a better one for fun and education!

Our tour guide Matt was GREAT and informative but at $145.80/person, you'd expect a little more. We went to two wineries, Chateau Marsannay and Philippe Leclerc. Marsannay seemed more commercial and the wines were okay. Philippe Leclerc was great but the pours were very tiny. Maybe half the size of a typical tasting. Matt was so kind to bring cheese for us at Philippe Leclerc but it was hard to reserve the little wine we had to pair with it. The other couple on the tour also agreed.
Other than that, we really appreciated Matt. He knew a lot about the area, great wine knowledge, and informed us a ton.

We're happy to hear you enjoyed your day, it’s really important to us. We are indeed lucky to have such a friendly and considerate guide like Matthieu in our team and his wine expertise is invaluable.
We always try to choose two really different wineries on pupose in order to show the variety of wine available in the region, the ways to do them and commercial orientations. We are sorry that you didn' t like so much your experience at Chateau de Marsannay, thoses wines get very good ratings by many wine critics over the world.
At Philippe Leclerc, you probably tasted 6 or 7 differents wines with a price range between 35€ to 78€ per bottle. Tastins portions are usually 3cl even if somme estates to like to pour more. It's understundable that the pourings are smaller that in other wines regions where the wine are less expensive, so the cost of the tasting for the wineries are much less expensive.
Also, you mention a cost per person of $145.80, this was the price of the two of you, so $72.90 per person.
We hope to see you again soon in Burgundy to bring you to other places to discover what the region as to offer,

Anne has incredibly detailed knowledge of the Burgundy region, including prehistoric facts of how the land formed, and medieval facts of how the monks came to produce the wine.

The tour guide John was great and very knowledgeable about the local Village wine and terrain. The experience was great but could have been a bit longer so we could visit additional wineries or the vineyards. Overall a wonderful experience.

Our trip was very enjoyable with a guide who clearly knew the history and background of wines in burgundy. She was both knowledgeable and entertaining. The trip was small group and thus all were able to interact with the guide in both French and English. The two wineries visited provided a good opportunity to sample across several wines and wineries. An excellent trip for all!

This tour was absolutely wonderful! Our guide, Ann, was so knowledgeable. Her english was flawless and we learned SO MUCH about wine and the burgundy region. The tastings were very generous and Ann was more than gracious, taking photos of us, and stopping at beautiful sites for us to take pictures. We would DEFINITELY recommend this to others!
