I would like to thank our tour guide for bringing everyone back safely. Road to Hana has 52 miles, a longest scenic route in the the world. 640 turns and curves make it difficult for average driver to make it through difficult. You made right choice to let us do the driving. Just remember that we have you covered for the whole duration of the tour. Again I would like to thank our tour guide for bringing everyone back safely back to their hotels for everyone to enjoy other activities.
Many stops along the way. Saw historical sites, waterfalls, places where they made honey and chocolate bars. We had a very good driver which is important for the very narrow roads and all the turns. Lovely ocean views. Viewing large turtles was fun. Two places to swim for short time. Black beach interesting and beautiful!
Our tour guide Jay was lots of fun & answered all our questions we had. I was really anxious about going on this tour because I’m afraid of heights but his driving skills made me relax & enjoy the tour.
It was ok
spent a lot of time jumping of a waterfall which was clearly banned
also not enough time at the black beach especially when bunched in with lunch which incidentally was very good
a lot of talk about music in the van and nothing about the sights or history of hawaii
I would like to thank the driver for bringing everyone back safely. There is no place on earth like Road to Hana, 54 miles of the longest scenic route in the world. Some of the guests are carried away with spectacular views of Hana. 640 nerve wrecking, hair pin turns. This is why everyone pays for our service. Again I would like to thank our tour guide for bringing everyone safe.
The Actual Tour Was Great...Getting Ditched, Not So Much
, Jun 2021
After waiting in front of our hotel for 2 hours, the driver failed to pick us up. No call or texts. After calling/texting/emailing the main office multiple times with no answer, we finally got through to someone who said a manager would call us back. A manager did call back after awhile, apologized profusely, and set us up with a tour the next day. The tour with Kristi was great; she was an excellent driver with much experience and insight into Maui's diverse history and biodiversity, and she was a wonderful guide. No negative comments on the actual tour, just disappointed to have wasted an entire day of our vacation.
You can only submit a review or rating of an experience to Viator if you were the person who made the booking through Viator. Before publication, each review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information for each of the following criteria: who, what, how, and when. If the system detects something that contradicts our publication criteria, the review is not published. When the system detects a problem with a review, it may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site. In some cases, we will also send you an email asking you to validate your review before it is published. All you need to do is click on the link provided in the email. After publication, our team checks each review reported to it as not meeting our publication criteria. Tripadvisor reviews that appear on the Viator site are subject to the same checks and moderation processes as set out above. It is not necessary to have booked an experience through Viator (or Tripadvisor) to submit a review of an experience to the Tripadvisor site.
Viator wants to make your searches as relevant as possible. That’s why we offer many ways to help you find the right experiences for you. On some pages, you can select how to sort the results we display and also use filter options to see only those search results that meet your chosen preferences. You’ll see explanations of what those sort options mean when you select them. You’ll see some experiences with a “Promoted” badge, which means that the operators of those experiences have agreed to pay Viator more to have their experience highlighted. If you see an Experience Award Winner label, the award is based on average review ratings, share of bookings with a review, and number of bookings through Viator over a 12-month period. The importance of any one factor over any other in a sort order varies, and the balance is constantly being reviewed and adjusted. We’re always updating our systems and testing new ways to refine and improve your results to make them as relevant as possible to meet your needs.
