Your tour begins in the middle of Moab where you’ll meet your guide, and board the comfortable 4WD vehicle for the 5-mile (8-km) drive to the park. Once inside Arches National Park, your off-roading adventure begins when you leave the road by Doc Williams Point.

More than 2,000 giant sandstone arches are scattered throughout the park, which is the largest collection of naturally occurring arches found anywhere in the world. You’ll also find pinnacles, fins, and rocks along this epic landscape of rich red earth sculpted by time.

If some of this landscape looks familiar, it’s probably because you’ve seen it in the movies. Popular films like Thelma and Louise were shot in portions of the park, as were scenes for Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.

If you choose the evening tour, there’s a chance you could see a fiery sunset illuminate the red rocks. Once the sun is below the horizon, stars sparkle in one of the darkest skies in the country.

Towards the end of the tour, you’ll leave the park via an old cowboy trail. It’s here where you’ll stop to see fossilized dinosaur tracks stamped into the earth.

Finally, after several hours of backcountry exploring in the southern Utah terrain, your tour finishes in the center of Moab from the same spot where it began.

Great experience!

Great tour! Jesse was a personable, knowledgeable and considerate guide. He even provided water and snacks! The off-roading was like nothing I'd ever done before - different, exciting and fun. We saw a couple of the park's well-known highlights and then several more sites that ordinary visitors who drive through in their cars never get to see. I got to put my foot in a dinosaur track (explanation for one of my photos.) I'd absolutely recommend the tour, and Jesse as a guide, to a friend.

Well worth the Investment

Solid excursion! A ton of fun! My wife, cannot hike any more. She has an issue which prevents her from getting out into the better portions of Arches. This was the main reason we booked this tour. And it was well worth it. They picked us up at the hotel and by the looks of the vehicle, we knew they meant business. It was geared up for a month in the outback in case there was an issue. The start out by going in a back country entrance to Arches. No lines. No waiting. You get to see dinosaur tracks, back country, arches that nobody else will probably see, and the main arches in the park. You go in and out a few times, and get to really see some very cool things! Well worth the money. We stopped a few times and got out to take pictures. We were very happy and satisfied that we made this investment in our vacation.

Good tour

The off-roaring was great and this tour lived up to our expectations. The only downsides: only the 1 person in the front seat really can hear and talk with the guide, and we were paired with a mother/daughter who were nice but took most of the guides attention. Otherwise I would recommend.

As a Black person the N-word being used on this tour was unacceptable.

I have very mixed feelings about this tour. It started off very good and for the most part I was enjoying myself. The tour guide was informative although sometimes he would use verbiage I think only scientist, environmentalist or historians would understand and Moab itself was beautiful. Toward the end of the tour he decided to tell us about Grandstaff Canyon, which used to be named Ni**er Bill Canyon. The tour guide chose to actually say the N-word instead of just hinting at what the canyon used to be called and he told me he was saying it from a "historian's" point of view. To be honest as the only black person on the tour it made me extremely uncomfortable from that point on. You could also tell the other people on the tour were uncomfortable as well from their silence and the mother in the group trying to change the subject. That word should have never been said no matter what point of view he was coming from and he could have easily insinuated what it was called, we all would have understood. I do wonder why he felt the need to tell the story at all? Was it because there was a black person on the tour and he thought maybe I'd like to hear some black history? Would he have told the history of Grandstaff canyon had I not been there? Sadly that experience put a damper on my whole memory of the tour and moab overall.

Friends took a road trip from the east coast to Moab. We booked our trip back in July 2021. Once we showed up we were assigned a guide for the day. His name was “Chance”. He was unbelievable!!! Super knowledgeable on multiple topics, personable and funny. Had a great time and would book with them again

Great tour. The off road vehicles are very good, Adam was very knowledgeable and helped all of us climb up and down the arches to ensure we had a good, safe experience. We experienced hidden gems in the park where we got great pictures and avoid the large crowds.
