Daniella was awesome. Here knowledge was impressive and her passion for this ancient ruins was infectious. Special note: she was called in unexpectedly on her day off, but still made it enjoyable for —a true professional. Enjoyed this trip! Thanks.

Wonderful experience

Herculaneum itself is a highly recommended site to visit. It is much smaller than Pompeii but in a way it looks more preserved and because of it's size, it is much more manageable. Our archaeologist guide, Daniella was wonderful. She gave us a lot of interesting information about the site. Since it was a small tour, each one of us had a lot of opportunity to ask her some questions. We've gained so much knowledge about the site and that made this tour so interesting for us. It is definitely worth paying for an archaeologist guide like Daniella.
Informative tour

Completely different to Pompeii and thus well worth the separate visit. Archaeologist as tour guide an outstanding proposition.Small group meant that had good informed commentary and responses to questions readily secured. Skip the queue also good.

Enjoyable, informative tour with passionate and knowledgeable tour guide. Was my favorite tour at end of visits to Milan, Rome (all the sites), Pompeii. Excellent experience.

Our guide, Luciano Leone, was passionate and full of rich information about the history of Herculaneum. We appreciated his insight as an archaeologist. Would definitely recommend.

To visit such a site with an archeologist guide was amazing I would not have gotten the same experience without this and he brought the place to life with his knowledge and passion I would highly recommend you pay for this to avoid wandering aimlessly around the site
Very knowledgeable tour guide

Loved this tour. Guide was very friendly and easy to interact with. Her English was pretty good but at times was hard to understand and sometimes she misunderstood questions. It was very hot while we were there at the end of July.
