Kewalo Basin Harbor - Slip F28 (Honi Olani)

This activity will end right where it started.
Once aboard the 'Honi Olani', find a spot on the deck and make yourself comfortable for the 15-minute ride to Turtle Canyon. Listen to music on the surround-sound speaker system and enjoy the scenery as Diamond Head comes in to view. Cash in your two included drink tickets for a selection of cocktails, white wine, sparkling wine or beer. Unlimited non-alcoholic drinks are also available. 

Enjoy the sun and the island breeze while you scan the horizon for marine life like spinner dolphins and migrating whales, which pass through the area between December and April. 

The captain will moor the boat at Turtle Canyon, where you will get a safety briefing. Slip in to the water by climbing down a safe stairway off the boat and spend about an hour to 90 minutes among the turtles with your snorkel guide. 

Back on board after your snorkeling adventure, feel free to take a freshwater shower or change in to dry clothing. Enter the the covered cabin for a deli sandwich buffet (midday tour only), or hang out on the deck to relax and snap photos of Waikiki and the Ko'olau Mountains as you sail back to shore.

We enjoyed our trip, although unfortunately it was rainy and windy much of the time. The captain and crew were great -- the perfect balance of laid-back fun with attention to safety. We got to see turtles and fish and even an octopus! The food and drinks were great. My only complaint was there was a baby and several young children on the trip who literally screamed through most of it. I get there's not much you can do with a baby, but a 3 year-old should know better. The parents seemed helpless to do anything about it, and insisted they go in the water, which made it even worse. I seriously would pay more money to go on a child-free excursion, or at least one with no children younger than six. Please consider offering it.

Fun boat trip, drinks were flowing. Turtle canyon was ok, saw 2 turtles which was spectacular to see. Would have been nice to have been given a little info on the turtles we saw or even info on the reefs along the coast. For the price of the trip would have definitely thought that would’ve been included.

Amazing tour. Swam with tons of turtles in the canyon. The whole staff was amazing and Natalie took especially good care of us. The staff was informative, kind, super patient and beyond helpful. My daughter begged to go back and do it again the next day.
