In the event that the Papal tombs beneath St. Peter's Basilica are closed, the tour of the Basilica itself will be extended and no refunds made

Climbing up the dome and looking out seeing the whole city was an amazing experience. Marianne was a wonderful guide and loved how she walked us through the basilica, Vatican museum and the Sistine Chapel with so much history and stories. This was a wonderful tour and would highly recommend!

There are far more stairs than i was led to believe. Some of the stairways had no railings. When we got to the museum i have never seen so many people in one space in my 73 years. If we had had to get out in a hurry i shutter to thing what would gave happened. For safety and covid the numbers were an issue. There need to be some quotas established.

Extremely informative guidance by Sandra. She gave so many intricate details regarding history, philosophy, architecture and art ! We could see the passion in her as if she was doing it for the first time just for us. Coming all the way from India it was very important for us to find such a genuine guide as we don't know when we might be able to visit again. Our guide Chiara was absolutely amazing. She engaged each couple / friend in a way that she knew they would listen / learn and she had the answers to everything. She was funny, informative and just amazing to have as a tour guide. She gave us free time to take photos and do our own little things. I would 100% recommend her and the group to everyone I know.

This was a great way to tour Vatican as a whole package. It is a very touristy place and the line gets really long. But, they arrange everything for you, and all you have to do is show up (make sure you show up early!). Also, our guide Paolo was amazing. He knew lots about Vatican, and very clear in communicating and directing where to go.

Tour was supposed to leave at 8 with an assembly time at 745. We got there at 757 due to traffic but the group had already left. There were no follow up texts, emails to rejoin the tour in progress, nothing at all. So we lost over 100 Euros over this. Attempts to get a refund over services not delivered were unproductive. Fake people sent unsupported emails backing the tour operator. Overall Viator's products are inconsistent and are not consumer friendly. There are far better and more honest tour operators elsewhere.

First of all, our guide Niccola is amazing. I think he may be the best guide I have had on my travels. Grazie Niccola! This tour is not for the fainthearted. You need decent shoes, energy and a good level of fitness, and stamina, especially in August! The trip up to the top of St Peter's Basilica is hard work for anybody. Many stairs without rest spaces. Actually, coming down is just as hard on the legs... Niccola's knowledge amd ability to impart it is second to none. He really made this tour for us - he was highly attentive, answered a multitude of questions, and just knew it all! He is clearly experienced but also highly skilled. The tour of the Vatican was great although it was extremely crowded and it was impossible to see everything. However, Niccola provided highlights and spoke about other things along the way to tie it all together. An absolutely fantastic tour. We needed some pasta at the end to refuel!

We enjoyed our time but the tour was too quick. We didn’t get to look at anything for very long. We ended up staying after the tour for another 3 hours to look at things more closely and go into areas in the Vatican Museum that were not gone through with the tour. Many amazing original art pieces that we didn’t realize were there.

Wow! Didn't realize there would be so much to this tour, and it was only a small taste of the Vatican. Besides the heat, we really enjoyed ourselves. The history was incredible. Our guide Chiara was super knowledgeable and made the tour very enjoyable and fun, such that you left learning and retaining what you saw. Thanks, Olivia's Family!

Our guide covered a lot of information and did so without feeling like we were in a classroom. She was very knowledgeable and very pleasant. The climb to the Dome of St Peter's was worth the climb, not just for the view but especially to experience how the walls slanted as you neared the top. Needless to say, the Vatican was beautiful, as well as the Sistine Chapel. Our guide gave us enough time to shop in the gift shop. I did not feel rushed at all.
