Absolutely loved it!!

This was one of our favorite experiences during our trip to Italy. The grounds of Tenuta are gorgeous - every staff member we interacted with or passed was friendly, gracious and attentive to the needs of their guests.
The cooking class was awesome - we learned a lot from chef Dante who was a font of humor, charm and authentic culinary knowledge. We loved getting to eat the delicious tagliatelle he coached us through making.
The wine tasting during lunch was one of the most elegant and flavorful experiences I have had at any winery. Our sever was extremely knowledgeable and ensured we tasted at a leisurely pace which paired well with the delicious lunch we were served.
We recommended this experience to several other folks we met during our stay in San Gimignano and can't speak highly enough about it! We were especially delighted when the case of wines we ordered during our visit were delivered to our door in California (free shipping!)

This is a MUST do!

From beginning to end, the experience at Tenuta Torciano was an incredible one. Our instructor, Antonio, was incredibly personable and helpful as we made three different types of pasta from scratch. Not only is it fun to do this while sipping on wine, we learned a valuable life skill that we will have forever. After the prep is done we went into a beautiful private room where we tried at least a dozen different wines led by the fantastic Marco while we at the pasta that we made (which was legitimately some of the best pasta we've ever had), meats, and cheeses.
The staff at Tenuta Torciano was incredible warm and welcoming and we can't wait to go back!

This was fabulous! We enjoyed...

This was fabulous! We enjoyed ourselves very much. We began with Alto, our chef, who conducted himself professionally but very nice and friendly. He served us wine and we ate while teaching us how to make pasta. Then we went into this lovely room for the wine tasting with Gabriel. He knows wine very well and I learned much from him. Then they served our own pasta we made and he went thoroughly through 9 different wines, truffle and olive oil. There was a pretty young gal that greeted us but I fail to remember her name. She wore round glasses and was very welcoming too. A family owned and operated winery. Everyone we came in contact with were related to each other, enjoyed their jobs and each other, and it showed. I highly recommend Tenuta Torciano Winery. Beautiful grounds, restaurant and especially the people, Bravo!
We perform checks on reviews
You can only submit a review or rating of an experience to Viator if you were the person who made the booking through Viator. Before publication, each review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information for each of the following criteria: who, what, how, and when. If the system detects something that contradicts our publication criteria, the review is not published. When the system detects a problem with a review, it may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site. In some cases, we will also send you an email asking you to validate your review before it is published. All you need to do is click on the link provided in the email. After publication, our team checks each review reported to it as not meeting our publication criteria. Tripadvisor reviews that appear on the Viator site are subject to the same checks and moderation processes as set out above. It is not necessary to have booked an experience through Viator (or Tripadvisor) to submit a review of an experience to the Tripadvisor site.

Sorting, ranking, and search results
Viator wants to make your searches as relevant as possible. That’s why we offer many ways to help you find the right experiences for you.
On some pages, you can select how to sort the results we display and also use filter options to see only those search results that meet your chosen preferences. You’ll see explanations of what those sort options mean when you select them.
You’ll see some experiences with a “Promoted” badge, which means that the operators of those experiences have agreed to pay Viator more to have their experience highlighted.
If you see an Experience Award Winner label, the award is based on average review ratings, share of bookings with a review, and number of bookings through Viator over a 12-month period.
The importance of any one factor over any other in a sort order varies, and the balance is constantly being reviewed and adjusted. We’re always updating our systems and testing new ways to refine and improve your results to make them as relevant as possible to meet your needs.
